The Saint Mark's Parish Centre
Our Parish Centre is available for hire by community groups and businesses, and for some social functions. The Centre is a newly refurbished historic building,offering a number of versatile spaces which may be used in various ways. All entrances have wheelchair access and there is lift access between floors. Limited parking of 18 of street parks, including mobility spaces are available.
Main Hall
A large space with a wooden floor, suitable for large meetings, conferences, retreats or social gatherings. The hall will accommodate 100+ seated guests at round tables, or 200+ seated theatre-style.
Main Lounge
This carpeted room, adjacent to the kitchen, is suitable for meetings or small social gatherings. It can be divided into two spaces.
Kitchen
An industrial kitchen with modern facilities including two ovens, six-burner gas hob, microwave, food warmer and steriliser is available to hire for functions on site. External Caterers often use this space to prepare food for weddings, baptisms, funerals and parties.
Music Room
A room specifically arranged for music. Wooden floor beneath unfixed carpet. Fully tuned piano and its own drum kit. Suitable for all music lessons which use portable instruments or need the use of a piano.
Meeting Room
A large room with a wooden floor beneath unfixed carpet, with access to toilets, lift and tea and coffee making facilities.
