The Perils of "P"
An awareness evening was held on Wednesday, 18 August 2010 at 7.30 pm in the Parish Centre, 95 Remuera Road.  Simon Moore QC and Paul La Franchie of the Stellar Trust presented a fascinating insight into the devastation this drug is causing in our society. A donation of the evening's takings was made to the Stellar Trust.

Bible Studies Evening Series

Monday 6 September 2010  7.45pm Vicarage

The Reverend Mark Sullivan will be holding 5 fortnightly Bible studies evenings based on a series of DVDs by American Old Testament scholar, Ray Vander Laan.  These will be held on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings.

Working Bee, Fixing the Vestry Floor
 
First job was to remove the carpet, staples and tacks. John Sievers led this team.
 
 The old seeper plate had to be replaced, the rotten joists cut out and the piles repacked. The floor then required jacking to relevel.
 
 
The Vicar underneath the floor fixing new joists. Just as well he's a small chap there wasn't much room.
Much time was spent giving thanks for nail guns!
